What is the Rural Renewal Stream?
This stream focuses on meeting the labor shortages in rural communities in Alberta. The community facing labor shortages must first request the provincial government to designate them. Once this step is completed, the community is authorized to recruit foreign nationals.
Foreign national applying under this stream must have a letter of support / approval from a designated community. Also, you must meet the requirements for this stream.
