Terms & Conditions for Mak Canadian Immigration Services

Effective: May 8, 2026

1. Welcome

Welcome to www.makimmigration.ca. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you can use our website. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply to your use of the website. If you become a client of MAK, the Service Agreement you sign with your RCIC is what governs the professional relationship. The Service Agreement takes priority over these Terms for any client matter.

2. About Us

MAK Canadian Immigration Services is a Canadian immigration consulting practice based in Mississauga, Ontario. Our consultants are Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

Our consultants are:

  • Omer Khalil, RCIC, R710149
  • Usman Khalil, RCIC, R709592

3715 Laird Rd, Unit 4, Mississauga, ON L5L 0A3
Email: info@makimmigration.ca
Phone: +1 905 518 4539

3. When Our Relationship Begins

We’re glad to hear from anyone interested in our services, and we want to be clear about how a working relationship is formalized.

You become a client of MAK once all three of the following have happened:

  1. We’ve signed an Initial Consultation Agreement and held the consultation;
  2. We’ve signed a Service Agreement together; and
  3. We’ve received any payment due under that Service Agreement.

Until then, no formal RCIC and client relationship exists. Visiting the website, sending us a message, completing an assessment form, booking a consultation, or talking to us on social media does not, on its own, make you our client. Working this way protects both of us by ensuring scope, fees, and expectations are documented properly before we commit.

We also reserve the right to decline new files where we don’t feel we can properly serve a particular matter. If that happens, we’ll tell you respectfully and quickly.

4. Website Content

We share blog posts, news, program summaries, FAQs, and other material to help you understand the Canadian immigration landscape. We try to keep this content accurate, but immigration law and IRCC policy change constantly. A general article cannot replace personalized advice for your specific case.

Please treat website content as helpful background, not as advice you should act on without speaking to a licensed RCIC. If you’d like guidance on your situation, please book a consultation.

5. Outcomes

Immigration decisions are made by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and other Canadian government authorities, not by us. We bring our full skill to every client matter, but no immigration consultant or lawyer can guarantee the outcome of any application, including approval, processing time, or any specific government decision.

Any client stories, testimonials, or examples on the website refer to past matters. They do not predict outcomes for any current or future case.

6. Social Media

We share helpful information on our social channels. Posts, replies, and comments in those spaces are for general education only. They are not personalized advice and they do not make anyone our client. We are not responsible for comments, content, or links posted by others on our channels.

7. Booking and Consultations

If you book a paid consultation through our online booking page, the fees, scheduling, cancellation, and refund rules are shown to you when you book. Please review them at the time of booking. Booking entitles you to that consultation. It does not, on its own, mean we will be representing you on an application; that requires a separate Service Agreement, as set out in Section 3. Once a consultation has been delivered, the consultation fee is non-refundable.

8. Privacy and Sensitive Information

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy at www.makimmigration.ca/privacy. It forms part of these Terms.

Until you become a client and we have set up secure document sharing for your file, please share only the information needed for your initial inquiry. Once you sign a Service Agreement with us, we’ll provide secure document sharing through our client portal at secure.makimmigration.ca (for representation packages) or a dedicated Google Drive folder (for DIY packages).

9. Our Content

Everything on the website (articles, images, videos, designs, our logo and name) is owned by MAK or used with permission. You’re welcome to read our content and share links to it. Please do not copy, republish, or commercially use it without our written permission.

We also do not permit automated tools, including web scrapers, crawlers, and AI training systems, to extract or harvest our website content for any purpose, including training machine learning or generative AI models.

10. Reviews and Comments

If you share a review, testimonial, or comment about us, whether on our website, on Google, or on social media, you confirm it is your own honest content and you give us permission to feature it in our marketing. We may decline or remove submissions that aren’t appropriate.

11. Using the Website Responsibly

Please use the website lawfully and in good faith. That means no impersonation or false information through our forms, no attempts to disrupt or hack the site, no spam or malicious content, and no unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to address any misuse, including by limiting access and pursuing available legal remedies.

12. Third-Party Links

The website may link to other sites such as IRCC, CICC, or government portals for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Please review their own terms when you visit them.

13. Liability

We provide the website “as is.” While we try to keep it accurate, available, and useful, we cannot guarantee that everything will be current, error free, or always accessible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAK and its consultants are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, your reliance on website content, technical issues with the site, third-party links or services, or any decisions made by IRCC or other authorities. This section does not limit any rights you have under a signed Service Agreement (which is governed by its own terms) or under applicable consumer protection law.

14. Indemnification

If your use of the website causes a legal claim against us, for example because you’ve used the site unlawfully or violated someone else’s rights through your use of it, you agree to be responsible for the costs of dealing with that claim, including reasonable legal fees.

15. Where Disputes Are Resolved

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute arising from your use of the website will be addressed exclusively in the courts of Ontario, and you agree to that jurisdiction.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a provision right away, we don’t lose the right to enforce it later. Together with our Privacy Policy, these Terms are the full agreement about your use of the website.

For clients, the Service Agreement governs the professional relationship and takes priority over these Terms.

17. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at www.makimmigration.ca/terms, with the effective date at the top. By continuing to use the website after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
