1. Welcome

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of makimmigration.ca. By using this website, you agree to these terms. These website terms do not replace any Initial Consultation Agreement, Service Agreement, or retainer signed between you and MAK Canadian Immigration Services.

2. About MAK Canadian Immigration Services

MAK Canadian Immigration Services is a Canadian immigration consulting firm based in Mississauga, Ontario. Immigration advice and representation are provided by licensed and regulated RCICs:

3. Website Information Is General

Website content, blog posts, FAQs, videos, social media posts, and resources are for general information only. Immigration law, IRCC policy, program delivery instructions, and procedures can change. Website content is not personalized immigration advice for your specific facts.

4. No RCIC-Client Relationship from Website Use

Using this website, submitting a form, sending an email, messaging us on social media, calling us, or viewing our content does not create an RCIC-client relationship. A professional relationship begins only when MAK agrees to act for you and the required agreement and payment terms are completed.

5. Consultations and Service Agreements

A paid consultation is a limited service based on the information you provide. Representation for an immigration application, response, reconsideration, procedural fairness letter, refusal matter, or other work requires a separate written Service Agreement that defines the scope of services, fees, responsibilities, and terms.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome or Processing Time

Immigration decisions are made by IRCC, CBSA, provincial and territorial programs, visa offices, tribunals, courts, or other government authorities. MAK does not guarantee approval, processing time, outcome, refund from government, or any specific decision.

7. Accuracy of Information Provided by Users

You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful information. Incomplete, incorrect, or withheld information can affect advice, strategy, application quality, eligibility, admissibility, or outcome.

8. Payments, Cancellation, and Refunds

Fees, cancellation rules, refund rules, and scope are shown at the time of booking or in the applicable agreement. Once a consultation has been delivered, consultation fees are generally non-refundable unless the applicable booking terms or agreement say otherwise. Representation fees and refunds are governed by the signed Service Agreement.

9. Privacy and Sensitive Information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect, and retain personal information. Before a secure file-sharing method is provided, do not send unnecessary sensitive documents through unsecured channels.

10. Client Portal, Email, WhatsApp, and Online Communication

Email, WhatsApp, online forms, booking tools, payment processors, client portals, document folders, and video meetings may be used to communicate and manage work. No online system is risk-free. MAK uses reasonable safeguards and expects users to avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information until secure instructions are provided.

11. Social Media and Comments

Social media posts, comments, replies, videos, and direct messages are general information only. They do not create a client relationship and should not be treated as personalized advice. Do not post private immigration details publicly.

12. No Issuance of Immigration Documents

MAK does not issue visas, work permits, study permits, visitor records, permanent resident cards, citizenship certificates, or any other immigration document. Only the Government of Canada or the relevant authority can issue immigration or citizenship documents.

13. Urgent or High-Risk Situations

If you face removal, detention, inadmissibility, a procedural fairness deadline, appeal deadline, court deadline, status-expiry issue, or other urgent immigration risk, do not rely only on website content. Book advice from a licensed professional immediately.

14. Intellectual Property and Website Use

Website content, design, images, videos, written materials, logos, and branding are owned by MAK or used with permission. You may read and share links for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, republish, scrape, sell, or commercially reuse content without written permission.

15. AI-Assisted Tools

MAK may use technology, including AI-assisted tools, to support drafting, editing, translation, summarization, research organization, and workflow efficiency. RCICs remain responsible for reviewing client-facing immigration work. Do not rely on AI-generated or website content as personalized advice.

16. Reviews, Testimonials, and Client Stories

Client reviews, testimonials, screenshots, and success stories are used only where permitted and should be true, accurate, and approved for public use where required. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

17. Third-Party Links

The website may link to IRCC, CICC, payment tools, booking platforms, Google, social media, or other third-party websites. MAK is not responsible for third-party content, security, privacy practices, or availability.

18. Limitation of Liability

The website is provided on an as-is basis. MAK tries to keep information accurate and useful, but does not guarantee the website will always be complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, MAK is not liable for losses arising from use of website content, technical issues, third-party links, or decisions made by government authorities.

19. Governing Law

These website terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
