What this page records
The original article discussed Express Entry planning information and category-based selection expectations circulating in 2025. That material described a past period and should not be carried forward as if it controls later Express Entry rounds.
Express Entry rounds are not governed by a permanent calendar on this page. IRCC publishes the instructions for each round online. Those instructions identify the round type, the number of invitations and the applicable program or category criteria.
Why the former predictions were removed
The earlier version of this article contained future-looking statements about expected 2025 rounds, projected CRS ranges and category invitation volumes. Those statements are no longer appropriate as current guidance. Category-based selection can change over time, and a past allocation or expectation does not establish the timing, size or CRS cut-off of a later round.
IRCC’s current category-based selection framework has also changed since this article was first published. Applicants should therefore check the current category requirements and the actual instructions for the relevant round instead of relying on a historical 2025 list.

Use this URL only as context for what was being discussed in 2025. Do not use it to estimate when a new round will occur, how many invitations IRCC will issue, which CRS score will be sufficient, or whether a particular category will be selected next.
For an application or profile decision, compare your circumstances with the current Express Entry program rules, the current category criteria where relevant, and the instructions for the actual round. A historical draw pattern does not guarantee a future invitation.
