11. Lahore / Pakistan Client Support Office

MAK has a Pakistan client-support and document-intake office. Authorized support personnel may assist with client support, document coordination, and intake-related tasks. Canadian immigration advice and representation are provided by MAK’s licensed RCICs. Support personnel are required to protect confidentiality and access information only as needed for their role.

12. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, password protection, multi-factor authentication where available, encrypted storage or transfer where available, limited staff access, secure backup practices, and confidentiality obligations for personnel who assist with client work.

13. Confidentiality and RCIC Review

MAK’s licensed RCICs have professional confidentiality obligations. Information collected for client matters is handled confidentially and used only for the purposes of providing services, meeting legal or professional obligations, or as otherwise authorized by the client or law.

14. Retention and Secure Deletion

We retain client files and related information for as long as required by professional, legal, tax, record-keeping, and business obligations. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it where appropriate.
