Four provinces issued invitations in the current immigration statistics. Ontario, B.C., and Manitoba announced Provincial Nominee Program submissions this week. Quebec also invites immigrants through its immigration policy. 11 of Canada’s 13 provincial and territorial governments (excluding Quebec and Nunavut) use their Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to find immigration applicants who match their areas’ workforce and demographic needs.
After receiving an Expression of Interest (EOI) from a province or territory, applicants can directly apply to a PNP program, or provincial governments can select candidates from the Express Entry application pool.
