An applicant has up to 60 days after getting an ITA to submit a detailed permanent residence application to IRCC.
The IRCC anticipates evaluating these applications within six months. If a candidate’s application is accepted, they will be granted permanent residency in Canada.
This draw comes after three successive Express Entry drawings in which up to 7,000 candidates were invited, with the lowest CRS score standing at 481.
Interestingly, it is not yet half of 2023, but more ITAs have been issued than the entire year of 2022.

What is Express Entry
Express Entry is an online operational system which IRCC uses to manage immigration applications from skilled applicants and workers. This online system manages 3 separate programs at the federal level consisting of:
1) Federal Skilled Worker Program
2) Federal Skilled Trades Program
3) Canadian Experience Class
Federal Skilled Worker program is primarily aimed at foreign nationals who possess foreign work experience.
Federal Skilled Trades program is primarily aimed at foreign nationals who are qualified in a skilled trade and have valid job offer OR certificate of qualification.
Canadian Experience Class is primarily aimed at foreign nationals who have Canadian work experience for at least ONE year in the previous 3 years.
