The fact that two draws were held back-to-back within a week and a whopping 7000 candidates were invited in each is surprising given how rarely the IRCC conducts all-program draws.
The fact that two draws were held back-to-back within a week and a whopping 7000 candidates were invited in each is surprising given how rarely the IRCC conducts all-program draws.
This was another “All-draw” programme which means applicants are selected from all 3 federal express entrance programmes were targeted including the FSWP, FSTP and CEC.
This draw size equals the largest-ever all-program draw, which was held last week on March 15th, 2023, and welcomed the same amount of 7,000 candidates. Applicants in that draw had at least CRS score of 490, which is only 7 points higher than the current draw.
Date: March 23rd, 2023
Number of invitations issued: 7000
CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 484
This draw disrupts the pattern of draws that have been specific to the programme that have been taking place over the course of the past two months. The Express Entry draws between July and November 2022 were all-program draws, inviting more than a thousand candidates each time and increasing as the minimum CRS score lowered. There are currently 245,121 foreign nationals waiting to receive invitations in the federal pool of express admission.
What is Express Entry

3) Canadian Experience Class
Federal Skilled Worker program is primarily aimed at foreign nationals who possess foreign work experience.
Federal Skilled Trades program is primarily aimed at foreign nationals who are qualified in a skilled trade and have valid job offer OR certificate of qualification.
Canadian Experience Class is primarily aimed at foreign nationals who have Canadian work experience for at least ONE year in the previous 3 years.
